The CHEWS course is a unique, state of the art one day course speciffically designed by highly qualified and
experienced healthcare professionals for nurses; based on the the 'Early Warning Scoring' (EWS) systems used in today's modern hospitals, based on the maxim of
'prevention rather than cure', supporting the 'Out
of Hospital' Strategy
'An excellent day.
Really very relevant. All nurses should do this course!'
Delegates will learn some of the latest skills and disciplines now in use in most
leading hospitals, thereby honing their skills and helping to place them on a par with their
contemporaries at the forefront of nursing care.
For when nursing (or indeed care) staff are equipped with the skills to detect signs of a
resident's health deteriorating earlier, that can mean the difference between the resident being cared for at
the home rather than their being transferred to a hospital. Meaning less disruption for the resident
and the care setting, fully supporting the 'Out of Hospital' strategy.
