Course Content

train2care's courses are constantly updated to ensure that the very latest legislation, guidelines, (both national and EU), research, etc. (global) are incorporated in the training on the day - thus ensuring that delegates are equipped with the necessary knowledge of best practice systems, etc. in order to be able to carry on their duties effectively and with confidence.

Each course is mapped in line and is fully compliant with the requirements of NVQ Levels 2 and 3 (UK) and Fetac Level 5 (ROI)

"Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember, involve me and I'll understand" (Chinese Proverb)

All training is carried out 'face to face', using traditional, modern, effective and interesting techniques, we do try wherever and whenever possible to get all delegates involved in the training sessions (role playing, case scenarious, team work, etc.) to make the learning as interesting and, dare we say it, enjoyable as possible, through use of - but by no means limited to -  any and all of the following:

  • PowerPoint slide shows
  • Case Scenarios
  • Videos / DVDs
  • Relevant aids and equipment
  • Course List
The Course List sets out all train2care's current one-day healthcare training courses both UK and ROI

"Very interesting. Good style of teaching, not dry or boring as other people's sessions or workshops have been"

Course Materials

Each delegate receives the following:

  • Course Handout (on CD), consisting of:
    • PowerPoint slides
